The Sculptors
Kate Stork had a deeply felt wish to create a fusion of the dance and the music she loves. Together with Verthandi and their glamorous cohorts they have brought to life Salome En Noir, an evening with a flavour of Silent Pictures. Kate is a Fusion Belly dancer, a writer, and an amateur musician, spanning both Opera, Industrial and Metal. She also runs East Meets Everyone, charity afternoon tea parties for ATS dancers.
Verthandi is an book artist, graphic designer, photographer, alternative model and belly dancer. The Sophie Foundation is very close to her heart, and she is pleased to be helping to make a positive difference, by supporting them with this event.
The Cohorts
This would not have been possible if it wasn’t for the generosity and kindness of several glamorous and debonair individuals.
- Mrs Mary Bollan - Back stage Management, beauty, and friendship
- Mr Rob Norman - Website design and patience with those of us still living in 1912 technologically speaking.
- Mr Mark Brown - emergency Knight in Shining armour with a printer.
- Mrs Míša V Krabičce - Director, and beautiful curator of the Silent Picture content of the evening.
- Mr Dean Allen Jones - Gentleman greeter and management of the smooth entry for Ladies and Gentleman into the evenings’ festivities.
- Hippo Print - These guys are completely amazing!
A word of thanks for the kind Gentlemen who have hosted our event in their beautiful vintage venue. Their kindness and assistance has helped to make developing our event a smooth and enjoyable experience.
